Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing or using GlassTryOn ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Cuneyt Emir ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of GlassTryOn.

2. What the App does

GlassTryOn generates images of you wearing eyeglasses, using AI. You supply a photo of yourself; the App supplies the frame.

• Virtual try-on — 95 frames across 9 categories, or a photo of a frame you supply yourself
• Recolour — change the frame colour on a result, or on any photo of someone wearing glasses
• Face-shape analysis — measures your face and suggests frame shapes. This runs entirely on your iPhone and is free and unlimited
• Creations — your results, kept on your iPhone rather than by us

What it is not

Results are AI approximations. They are not measurements, not a prescription, not optical advice, and not a guarantee of fit. Frame size, bridge width, temple length and lens prescription are not simulated. Always try glasses in person, or with a retailer's returns policy, before relying on how they look here.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GlassTryOn. If you are under 18, review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Credits

Everything the AI generates is paid for in credits. One credit is one photo — one try-on, or one recolour. Face-shape analysis costs no credits.

Two kinds of credit

• Plan credits come with a subscription. They refill at the start of each month of your subscription and do not carry over — each month starts fresh, and unused plan credits are lost.
• Pack credits are bought outright in a photo pack. They never expire, and they remain yours if your subscription ends.

Which is spent first

Plan credits are always spent before pack credits, because plan credits expire and pack credits do not.

Failed generations

If a generation fails for a technical reason, the credit is returned to the bucket it came from automatically. You do not need to contact us for this.

Credits are not money

Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not property. Deleting your account destroys any remaining credits.

5. Subscriptions

GlassTryOn offers auto-renewing subscriptions, sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account.

Plans and prices

• Monthly — $4.99 per month, 10 photos each month
• Yearly — $29.99 per year, 20 photos each month for twelve months

Prices shown are for the United States App Store. Your local price is set by Apple's price tiers and may differ; the price you will actually be charged is always shown in the App before you confirm.

Billing and renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the then-current price.
• A yearly subscription is charged once a year, and refills your monthly credits twelve times over that year.

Free trials

Where a free trial is offered, it is shown on the paywall with its length and the price that follows it. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged automatically.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from within the App under Settings → Manage subscription, or directly in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in. You keep access, and this period's plan credits, until the period ends.

When a subscription ends, remaining plan credits are removed. Pack credits are unaffected.

6. Photo packs

Photo packs are one-time purchases of credits, starting at $0.99. They are consumable: once bought, they are added to your balance and cannot be restored if consumed.

• Packs are available to customers with an active subscription. They are an addition to a plan, not an alternative to one.
• Every pack bought while a subscription is active carries 30% extra credits. The exact number you will receive is shown on the paywall before you buy.
• Pack credits never expire and survive the end of a subscription.

7. What costs nothing

Face-shape analysis and colour match are free and unlimited. Both run entirely on your iPhone, both work without an account, and neither sends a photo anywhere. Browsing the frame catalogue is also free.

There is no free generation. Every try-on and every recolour costs one credit, including the first one you make.

8. Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles all refunds. We cannot issue, approve or refuse a refund on Apple's behalf. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Credits for generations that fail on our side are returned automatically, as described in section 4.

Statutory rights of withdrawal or cancellation that apply where you live are not affected by anything in this section.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, use Restore on the paywall or in Settings. Restoring recovers an active subscription. Consumable pack credits that have already been spent cannot be restored; unspent credits live on your account and follow the account, not the device.

9. Your photos and your results

Your photos

You keep ownership of every photo you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to process it: to store it, transmit it to the AI provider that generates your result, and produce and store that result for you. Nothing broader.

You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo, and that anybody identifiable in it has agreed to it being used this way.

Your results

Generated images are yours. You may use them personally and commercially, subject to the rights of anyone depicted and to section 10.

We do not keep them. A result is downloaded to your iPhone and, if you allow it, saved to your photo library; nothing of it stays on our servers. That has a consequence worth stating plainly: deleting the App deletes your Creations gallery, and we cannot restore it. Your credits and your subscription are held on your account and are unaffected — they follow you to a new phone. Your photos do not. Keep anything you care about in your photo library, which is where the App saves it by default.

Our content

The App, its design, its catalogue imagery and everything else we created remain ours and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, redistribute or resell them.

10. What you may not do

• Upload a photo of somebody who has not agreed to it
• Upload photos of children other than in your own care
• Upload nudity, violence, or unlawful content
• Use a generated image to deceive, impersonate, defame or harass
• Present a generated image as an unedited photograph where that would mislead
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source or models
• Work around credit limits, or automate use of the App
• Resell access to the App or its output as a service

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section.

11. Your account

Browsing the catalogue, face-shape analysis and colour match work without an account, using an anonymous session held on your device.

Buying anything requires signing in with Apple. An anonymous session is tied to this installation, so a purchase made against one could not be recovered after a reinstall or on a second device; the App therefore asks you to sign in before it takes any payment. Signing in attaches your credits, purchases and history to you so they survive a new device.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and everything attached to it from Settings → Delete account. This removes your generation history, any remaining credits and the photos held on this iPhone by the App, and it cannot be undone. Copies you have saved into your own photo library are yours and are left alone — we have no access to them. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings, or you will continue to be billed.

12. Apple's role

These Terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and consumer protection claims.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes their intellectual property.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated results will meet your expectations, or that the service will always be available.

Generated try-on images are approximations produced by a machine learning model. They are not accurate representations of fit, size, colour or finish.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App — including purchasing decisions made on the strength of a generated image.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us through in-app purchases in the 90 days before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15. Changes

We may modify the App, its features, its prices or these Terms. Where a change is significant — in particular a price increase on an existing subscription — you will be told before it takes effect, and Apple will ask you to confirm a price increase before charging it. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
